Malkangiri: Police seized 1.23 quintals of ganja from a vehicle and arrested two people at Govindpally square here Thursday.
They used an ambulance to smuggle ganja.
Acting on a tip off, the police waylaid the ambulance at Govindpally square.
Notably, a team of Chhattisgarh Central Excise Department seized 6,545 kg ganja from a green coconut-laden truck that was on its way from Malkangiri to Punjab via Raipur June 24.
