Baripada : One person was killed and another man riding pillion seriously injured in a road accident at Chhenadhua area Tuesday night, police said.
The accident occurred when a bike, carrying the victim and his friend, was hit by a speeding van, Baripada Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Abhimanyu Nayak, said.
Following the incident, irate villagers set ablaze the van.
The injured was taken to PRM Medical College and Hospital at Baripada.
