Cuttack: The government-run SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) here has received 101 dengue cases in the past few days. Drop in rain and temperature has led to the spurt in dengue cases, hospital sources said.
As many as 95 patients are being attended to in the separate dengue ward. A total of 155 samples were examined Wednesday out of which 34 tested positive for the vector-borne disease.
Overall, a total 101 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at the hospital. Six out of them have been shifted to ICU after their condition deteriorated.
