10K VHP activists vow for Ram temple in Ayodhya

Balasore: Over 10,000 activists of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) staged protests at ITI Ground here Sunday, clamouring for construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya.

The VHP activists from Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Mayurbhanj districts vowed for construction of the temple.

Santh Kanheiya Das Maharaj from Ayodhya called upon the activists to be ready for a fight for the temple construction.

President of Balasore district VHP, Arabinda Barik and executive member state VHP Pabitramohan Das were present.

At the protest rally, Kanheiya Das Maharaj observed that the government will be compelled to agree for the temple construction.

Another VHP leader Jagannath Sahi noted, “Over 70 years have passed since Independence, but it has been a very painful wait for Hindus to build the temple dreamt of. The Hindu society will no longer tolerate the wait and will have to be united for a bigger fight for their right.”

Vice-president of the state VHP Malay Mohanty said all evidence is there in favour of Lord Sri Ram, but there is inordinate delay for his temple construction.
