Jajpur road: Three brothers were rendered homeless after their 12 roomed house was reduced to ashes in a massive fire breakout over unknown reason at Dhantari village under Panikoili police limits in Jajpur district late Monday night.
Sources said, the incident occurred while the victims were asleep after dinner. Fire broke out in a room and soon engulfed the whole house.
Luckily, all the family members woke up and ran to save their lives. Valuables worth lakhs of rupees including electronics, household items, groceries and many important documents were gutted.
Hearing the screams, neighbours woke up and alerted fire brigade personnel who reached the village and doused the flames.
The three brothers—Brajakishore Behera, Gajendra Behera and Upendra Behera requested the administration to look into their plight and provide them with immediate help.
