Bhubaneswar: A total of 13,043 students have applied for Plus II offline examination, Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) informed Saturday.
According to a CHSE official, the council had announced September 2 that Class XII students who were dissatisfied with the marks allotted to them on basis of alternate assessment can register their respective names for the Annual Higher Secondary (Special) Examination, 2021, which is to be conducted in offline mode.
The council had clarified that examination or registration fees will not be collected from the students. However, the last date for registration on SAMS e-Space was fixed for September 9.

“Those who will appear in the annual offline (special) examination would have to forego their presently awarded marks. Results of the offline examination will be treated as final,” a CHSE notification read.
Notably, the offline examination will be held only for major papers. Marks in other papers will be awarded on the basis of marks secured in the major papers, which will be decided by the CHSE.
