Cuttack: Dengue finally has spread with the onset of monsoon in Cuttack district with 14 persons testing positive at the SCB Medical College and Hospital Saturday. Out of 14 seven patients are from Cuttack.
About 58 blood samples were sent to the hospital for examination out of which 14 tested positive for dengue. The seven affected persons are from Mangabag, Choudwar, Manguli Pradhan Pada, Mahanadi Vihar, Niali and Harikina of Cuttack district, sources said.
Cuttack tops the list among dengue affected districts and 31 cases have been reported from the district. In Odisha 14 districts have been affected by dengue till now.
