Bhubaneswar: A 15-year old boy from Khurda district succumbed to COVID-19 Sunday. The State Health Department informed this in a tweet.
“Regret to inform the demise of a 15 yr Male (Child) Covid positive patient of Khordha who was also suffering from Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma with immuno compromised status,” the tweet read (SIC).
With this, the state’s COVID-19 toll has gone up to 1,919.
Notably, the state reported 98 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 3,38,817. Of them, 3,36,066 patients have so far recovered and the number of active cases stands at 779.
