Ganjam: Two college students were killed after being struck by lightning at Belagunda village in Ganjam district Monday. The deceased were identified as Deepak Dalei and Duitikrishna Sahoo.
According to sources, the duo along with two other friends was headed to their village when lightning struck them at Thengadhar-Mandar village road.
They were rescued and rushed to Belagunda Hospital where they were declared ‘brought dead’. Police have registered a case of unnatural death into the incident.
