Khurda: In a shocking incident, two minor sisters drowned while taking bath at a village pond at Baghmari Atri village in this district Saturday morning.
The deceased minors-Aalisha and her cousin Shrabani had gone to the village pond with their grandmother at about 8 am. While bathing, they accidentally slipped and drowned.
Though they were rescued and rushed to the nearby hospital, they were declared brought dead by the doctors.
