Cuttack: A pall of gloom descended Jhadeswarpur village under Nemal police limits in Cuttack district after death of two minor siblings including a boy due to snakebite Wednesday.
The deceased identified as Krishna (5) and Ajay (6), children of Ajay Bal Samant were at their maternal uncle’s house in the village. They were bitten by a snake while they were sleeping at night.
The two were found dead inside a room with snakebite marks on their bodies Wednesday morning.
On being informed, police reached the spot and sent the bodies for autopsy.
