New Delhi: As many as 30 officials, including Bhubaneswar SP, of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have been awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service by the President on the occasion of Independence Day.
According to the information released by CBI, President’s Police Medals for Distinguished Service have been awarded to 6 officials while Police Medals for Meritorious Service to 24 other officials.
Bhubaneswar CBI SP ACB Pramod Kumar Manjhi has also been awarded Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
The President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service has been awarded to Dhanbad SP Nagendra Prasad, Thiruvananthpuram SP K.M.Varkey, Bhopal Additional SP Santosh Kumar, Hyderabad DSP B.Shankar Rao, Kolkata DSP Bijay Kumar Pradhan, and Dehradun Inspector Shama Maruf.
