392 more COVID-19 patients recover, discharged from hospitals

Bhubaneswar: A total of 392 patients recovered from the COVID-19 virus and were discharged from their respective treatment facilities, the Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) Department, Government of Odisha said in a series of tweets Tuesday. The new recoveries took the total number of recovered patients in Odisha to 3,19,850.

Sundargarh district topped the recovery list with 78 persons testing negative for COVID-19. It was followed by Khurda and Angul districts that reported 46 and 36 new recoveries respectively.

Other districts that registered new recoveries were: Mayurbhanj (29), Kalahandi (27), Cuttack (25), Jharsuguda and Puri (18 each), Kendrapara (12), Nuapada and Sambalpur (11 each) and Balasore (10).

Districts which reported single-digit recoveries are Bargarh and Bhadrak (nine each), Bolangir and Jagatsinghpur (six each), Deograh, Jajpur, Malkangiri and Nayagarh (five each), Keonjhar and Koraput (four each), Ganjam and Boudh (three each), Dhenkanal and Rayagada (two each), Nabarangpur and Sonepur (one each).

The State Pool on the other hand reported eight recoveries.

Earlier in the day, the Health and Family Welfare Department had said that the state had registered four fatalities in the last 24 hours due to COVID-19.
