Rayagada, August 5: During a hearing of the sensational murder case of Itishree Pradhan, a sikhya sahayika of Tikiri Upper Primary School under Kashipur block, district and sessions judge Wednesday issued summons to five witnesses in the case.
Besides, the authorities of Seven Hills Hospital in Visakhapatnam also submitted the documents related to the treatment administered to Itishree during her last days in the court Wednesday.
Bishnuprasad Panda, the advocate of prime accused Netrananda Dandasena filed a petition seeking the appearance of five witnesses in the court. Earlier, Panda urged the court to issue orders to the hospital to furnish the papers related to the treatment of the deceased teacher.
The court also asked an official of Seven Hills Hospital to appear in the court in connection with the case. Government pleader Rajendraprasad Sahoo was also present in the court.
