5 signs to know your partner is not the right person for you

Whether a relationship is meant to be is often determined by how much both the partners put in to maintain the relationship. Even after giving it your 100 per cent, there are chances that the relationship might end in fights and misunderstandings.

And if you feel you’ve done all that you can, and it still hasn’t worked out, then you decide the relationship wasn’t meant to be. But let’s review some signs that could help you identify sooner when a relationship is wrong or your partner is not the right person for you.

Being around him/her is not fun: If you are not happy around him/her a majority of the time. Especially during parties, dinning and movie outings as these places are supposed to be enjoyable. If being with him/her turns everything sour, you might want to think about finding a partner that makes all things fun—even the boring ones.

Your dreams don’t matter to him/her: He/She knows what you want, but doesn’t care. Instead of supporting you and helping you search for the best he/she doesn’t cares. If he/she cannot handle your big goals and aspirations, how is he/she going to deal with all the small, weird stuff you’re into?

He/she rarely does the little things: If he/she truly believes you are the most amazing person in his life, he/she will make you feel that way even on days when you yourself are not sure. If there is lack of little things in relationship, then it might soon fade away into loneliness and isolation.

He/she gives you space: We all need some me-time in our lives. Does he/she let you take time for yourself? That’s great! Or has he/she learned to use that as an excuse to abandon you in favor of other pursuits? In a perfect world, you would both go your separate ways, and come back to share stories about what you did. At the very least, he/she should be excited to see you always.

He is not there emotionally: Does he/she try to figure out what you are thinking and feeling? Lack of empathy in a relationship shows that he/she is not able to connect himself/herself emotionally with you. If there is no emotional connect, then there are less chances of a good relationship.
