Berhampur: As many as 550 students of ITI, Berhampur have received appointments at Johnson Lift & Escalators Pvt. Ltd at a two-day campus recruitment drive organised by the ITI which concluded Wednesday. Prof Ashok Kumar Ganguly of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) at Berhampur joined the camp on its concluding day and gave away the appointment letters to the selected students and encouraged them. Johnson’s manager A Chitra attended the programme and said that success can be achieved only through hard work. 10 human resources heads of Johnson’s Pune, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bangalore, Gurugram, Noida, Jaipur, and Bhubaneswar units attended this camp and conducted recruitments.
Over 720 students of the ITI from fitter, electrician, electronics mechanic, technicians, mechatronics, instrument mechanic, diesel mechanic, motor mechanic, turner, and painter departments participated in the camp while 550 of them were selected. Among them, 139 were girls, the ITI’s Principal Rajat Kumar Panigrahi said.
