5T Chairman reviews projects in Gajapati

Bhubaneswar: Chairman 5T and Nabin Odisha Kartik Pandian Tuesday visited Gajapati to review the progress of various developmental works in the district and interact with students and the general public. During his visit, Pandian participated in the Nua-O Programme being organised at Gajapati Stadium and interacted with college students. He exhorted the students to work hard with self-confidence to achieve success in life. He said that the college transformation projects in the district will be completed by February.

Pandian reviewed the progress of 9 bridges being constructed with an estimated cost of 54 crore. A total of Rs 279 crore worth of projects were sanctioned following his last visit to the district in May 2023. Later, he took stock of other major projects which include Chheligada Irrigation project at a total cost of Rs 996 crore; Mega Piped Water Supply projects to Rayagada block at a total cost of Rs 180.5 crore; Paralakhemundi Bypass Road for Rs 54 crore; Development of different Waterfalls and viewpoints at a total cost of Rs 13.5 crore; Development of Jeerango Monastery for Rs 2.68 crore and development of different major temples of the district.

In addition, a new government degree college was sanctioned for Gumma block. The college will start functioning in the upcoming Academic Year 2024-25. Pandian interacted with the public at Kashinagar and Ramagiri received the grievances on various issues and assured early resolution.
