Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar chapter of FICCI FLO, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), hosted the 5th FLO Utkal Awards 2025 Wednesday, recognising 15 outstanding women for their remarkable contributions across various sectors. The event was inaugurated by managing director of Ruchi Foodline Sharat Kumar Sahu, as the chief guest. Among the key dignitaries present were FICCI FLO national president Harjinder Kaur Talwar, Jivada Ventures Pvt Ltd MD Dharitri Patnaik, and Frozit founder Rashmi Sahoo, along with several prominent women entrepreneurs.
Addressing the gathering, Patnaik emphasised the significance of honouring women achievers and fostering empowerment. “Since 2021, the FLO Utkal Awards have been celebrating extraordinary women from diverse fields. This platform not only acknowledges their efforts but also inspires others to establish their own identities,” she said. Expressing gratitude, one of the awardees highlighted the role of FICCI FLO in nurturing women entrepreneurs in Odisha. “The organisation has provided a strong support system through seminars, workshops, and networking events, helping women connect, learn, and grow,” noted Rashmi Sahoo. This year’s theme for International Women’s Day, ‘Accelerating Action,’ aligns with FLO’s mission of driving women’s entrepreneurship and leadership. Over the years, the awards have spotlighted incredible talent, encouraging more women to step forward and make meaningful contributions to society.
