A 60-year-old aunt has done such an act which has become the talk of the town. It is about an idli consumption competition. Just think how many idlis can you eat in a minute?
At most, you can eat two, three or four idlis. But this 60-year-old aunt did something which shocked all the participants in the competition, which one cannot guess for sure.
As we all know Durga Puja has kicked off across India and similar festival was going in Mysore, Karnataka. Mysore Dussehra is famous all over the world. During this festival, a competition of eating idli was organised. Women of various age groups participated in this competition which was exclusively for women. In this competition, women were seated along a long table inside the pandal.
In this competition, a 60-year-old woman named Sarojamma not only took part, but had 6 idlis in a minute. Sarojamma won the competition by having 6 idlis, leaving behind 60 contestants. Sarojamma hails from Hulahalli village in Mysore district.
Every year in Mysore, a ten-day festival is celebrated around the Dussehra festival. This time the festival will be held in between September 29 and October 8. Different types of competitions were organised every year during this festival. This time a competition for eating idlis was organised.
