Dhenkanal: In recognition of their hard work and dedicated service in 2020, eight personnel of Dhenkanal Police have been awarded the commendation of DGP Odisha. The announcement was made Friday. These eight police personnel have shown exemplary dedication while investigating and deposition of cases. The Superintendent of Police (SP) Dhenkanal presented the awards to the police personnel.
Those who were presented with the awards are sub-inspectors Satyabrata Bhutia, Abhaya Kumar Pradhan and Baikunthanath Ghadei, assistant sub-inspectors Anjulata Nayak, Madhaba Chandra Nayak, and Nityananda Pati, Constables Subrat Kumar Padhi and Ranjan Kumar Biswal.
It is pertinent to mention here that outstanding work in the fields of investigation and prosecution, countering Maoist/terrorist operations, successful drives against drug trafficking, organised crimes, economic offences, cybercrimes, recovery of arms/ammunition and execution of non-bailable warrants, among others, are considered for the selection of personnel for the DGP’s commendation.
