“The heart of a father is the masterpiece of nature,” goes a saying by French author and novelist Antoine-François Prevost. Father’s Day, like many other days, is celebrated with joy and love in the capital city every year. Some tweet about it, many post photographs of their fathers, while there are others who like to spend the day their father. Orissa POST interacted with a number of Odia film personalities to know how they celebrate this lovely day.

Jyoti Ranjan (Actor): For me every day is Father’s Day. However, this day gives me an opportunity to express my gratitude to my father and spend more time with him. I usually take my father’s advice and seek his guidance on every aspect of my life. Describing my father in a few words, I would like to say that he is a pillar of strength for me.
Poonam Mishra (Actress): I am very close to my dad. My father is a super hero and I always wish him good health. I would like to take my father on a special dinner as well as want to spend some great time with him.
Anubha Panda (Actress): Father’s Day is very special to me. He is my secret chamber with whom I share all my woes and happiness. In today’s busy world I am lucky to spend some great time with him on this day. I plan to take my father out for this year.
Jhilik Bhattacharaya (Actress): I always look forward to this day because for me my Baba is my world and I can’t imagine a moment without him. Whenever I am not in Kolkata, I talk to him on phone regularly and connect with him via social media. This year, I intend to visit my home town in Kolkata and spend some real good time with him. After all I am Papa’s favorite child.
Ranbeeir Kalsi (Actor): Whatever I am today is because of my father, who believed in my dreams and let me pursue them. He is a pillar of strength for me. I pray that may God bless everyone with such wonderful fathers. I love him deeply and wish to spend all my life taking care of him, loving him and following his advice.
