Dhenkanal: A woman was beaten to death by her son over a domestic dispute at Koi village under Kankadahada police limits in Dhenkanal district Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Pohala Dehuri (65), while the accused was Bhagaban Dehuri (28). Police registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem.
The accused was being interrogated. Bhagaban picked up a stick and beat his mother to death. None among the victim’s four sons lived with her.
