Balasore: Khaira police have arrested two criminals at Tudigadia under Khaira block in Balasore district Friday night.
According to the police, the accused were members of a gang who have been involved in more than five looting cases in the last five days.
While the two were looting a shop, owned by Madan Behera, at Barpada village, they noticed a police patrolling van.
When they tried to escape, the police team chased their bike and nabbed them.
The police also seized a pistol from their possession.
The duo, who sustained minor injuries, was admitted to Khaira Community Health Centre.
