Bhubaneswar: The state government Wednesday announced the tentative dates for Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) for 2019.
As per the notification, OJEE 2019 is likely to be held May 12 whereas the special OJEE has been scheduled for July 21.
A decision to this effect was taken at the policy planning board meeting, said OJEE chairman Dr Sudip Kumar Chand Wednesday.
He said candidates willing to appear for the offline entrance test will have to apply online through the OJEE’s official website www.ojee.nic.in. The process of application will commence from January 25 and continue till March 25. The candidates can download their admit cards from the website April 20.
It may be pertinent to mention here that the special OJEE is being conducted to fill up the vacant seats in engineering, management and pharmacy colleges in the state.
The government conducts the OJEE for providing lateral entry to candidates into courses like B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, MBA, MCA, M.Tech as well as M Plan and integrated MBA courses.
