After Flipkart Fashion has announced its flagship sale ‘the Best of Season Sale’ (BOSS), from December 20-24 including over 50 lakh styles from 1000+ brands and offering discounts of 50 to 80%.
Now Myntra also expects to cater to over 2.5 million fashion shoppers with the 9th edition of its 4 days, biannual ‘End of Reason Sale (EORS)’ to start from tomorrow. It will be held between 22-25 December.
The company claims that sale will provide more than 1 million styles from over 3000 brands. It will offer discounts of up to 50% – 80%. This includes merchandise from big brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, Forever 21, Swarovski, Tommy Hilfiger, Jack & Jones, Flying Machine, Marks & Spencer.
Interestingly, Myntra and Jabong’s private brands, like Roadster, HRX, All About You, House of Pataudi, Mast and Harbour will be on sale.
The current sale edition will allow users to scan QR codes distributed by Myntra’s partners to get special EORS deals. It will also feature an improved version of Shout & Earn, the company’s referral program where users can get their friends to just visit during the sale and get rewarded up to Rs 50 per friend in discounts.
Mithun Sundar, Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer, Myntra and Jabong said, “EORS has become the benchmark event for us and for the country, over the sheer volume of fashion, brands, styles and offers delivered to shoppers. We expect to cater to over 2.5 million fashion shoppers during the current edition and handle almost 15000 orders per minute at peak.”
Though, Tier II and III cities and towns will be a key focus area for the company, around 50% of the sales are expected to be generated from these regions. It also expects the kirana model to account for 55% of the overall deliveries, enabling them to do faster deliveries to customers.
The company also said it is looking to acquire close to 7 lakh new customers during the four-day sale.
