Bhadrak: Question papers of Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) have once again been allegedly leaked and are now viral on the social media, reports said Wednesday. The exams were supposed to be conducted Wednesday.
Since the questions have been leaked, it has created a huge resentment among those who are appearing for the tests. They have demanded stringent action against those responsible for the heinous act.
Sources said photos of the question papers went viral on social media while the first shift of the exam was underway. Education paper exam was held in the first shift.
The matter came to fore after the pictures of the question papers reportedly surfaced on social media platforms like Whatsapp and Facebook. Soon, it went viral.
The exams are scheduled to be conducted in two shifts Wednesday. While the first shift was will be 10.00am till 12.30pm, the second shift would be conducted from 2.00pm till 4.30pm. Total 1.12 lakh students are appearing for the test today.
However, it has not been clarified on whether the exams would be postponed as the authenticity of the leaked papers is yet to be ascertained.
When asked, Board of Secondary Education (BSE) president Jahan Ara Begum said an investigation into the paper leak allegations is underway. The decision to whether postpone the exam or not will be taken once the probe report comes in.
