Khurda: Governor Ganeshi Lal Thursday reviewed the implementation of various Central and state government sponsored developmental schemes in the district here.
Accompanied his secretary Madhu Sudan Padhi, Lal reached the conference hall at district Collector’s office here around 11 am and reviewed the implementation of various projects.
According to sources, the review meeting primarily focused on schemes with regard to sectors like health, primary and secondary education, social welfare and rural development.
During the review meet, Lal put emphasis on focused efforts to bring all round development to the district.
Collector Nirmal Mishra gave welcome address at the meeting. Among others, district rural development agency (DRDA) project director Saroj Mishra and Additional Collectors Manoranjan Mallick and Arun Behera were present at the review meet.
Reviewing of the government schemes by the Governor is being considered as a new development in Odisha.
