Melbourne: Virat Kohli who led India to a historic ‘double’ in Australia by winning the Test and the ODI series had fun time Saturday when he visited the Melbourne Park to watch the ongoing Australian Open tennis tournament.
After more than two months of hard, Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma took some time off for themselves and watched a couple of matches including that of Serena Williams. Not only that, the two met the legendary Roger Federer and later on Kohli posted a picture of his and Anushka with the tennis legend on his Twitter account.
“What a day at the Australian open. ??????? An amazing way to finish the Australian summer. Forever grateful ?????#ausopen,” Kohli tweeted along with a series of pictures from Australian Open.
Federer, who has some knowledge about cricket, had in the past met Sachin Tendulkar also. With Tendulkar being a regular at Wimbledon, the Swiss maestro can be frequently seen with the retired Indian cricket icon.
