Cuttack, Dec 12: Third year political science students of Ravenshaw University Friday skipped the semester examination protesting unwarranted changes in the question pattern. The students walked out of the examination hall and staged a demonstration at the office of the controller of examinations protesting reforms introduced from the semester exam. The agitating students withdrew the strike after examination controller Purnendu Tripathy promised to conduct the examinations afresh. Sabyasachi Mohapatra, a student, said, “Earlier, the semester exam comprised 40 marks consisting of two questions carrying 13 marks each and another question of 14 marks. However, this year the authorities insisted on answering four questions carrying seven marks each and two questions of six marks each.’
