BHUBANESWAR: Talented Odia singer Rituraj Mohanty is back with his new romantic flick ‘Sapne Mein’ to set the mood of his fans for the Valentine’s week.
In the song, Rituraj is seen in his signature black turban and red-and-black ensemble, along with actor-model Gehana Vasisth. The song was based on Punjabi beats.
The song accumulated over 74k view in just 15 hrs after its release. Rituraj has taken to social media with his cover songs that have become quite popular with his fans.
Briefing about his project in a Live session on Instagram with his fans and followers, the winner of Raw Star 2014, Rituraj Mohanty said, “I have been working on this song for quite some time now. I have sung in 18 languages but this is the first time I had the opportunity to sing in Punjabi. Sometimes, the audience gets carried away with visuals of the video which song then takes a back seat.”
“I request all my fans to support the song and send me feedback. I had never thought to appear on screen as singing has always been my first priority. I am currently working in two new projects,” he said.
“I am busy in recording tracks for a popular television serial in Mumbai. The actor was in his hometown last during the .Fest (Bhubaneswar City Festival) in December where he enthralled all with his performance.
Moreover, Rituraj has sung in Bollywood movies such as ‘Budhia Singh-Born To Run’, ‘Terra Surroor’, ‘Bangistan’ and popular music video ‘Bekhudee Returns’. His songs have accumulated over two million views on YouTube.
