Bhubaneswar: The second phase of Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (KALIA) Scheme has commenced from January 25. The second Draft Beneficiary List (DBL) for small and marginal farmers and first DBL for Landless Agricultural Labourers are already on display at different public places of gram
panchayat (GP) from January 25 and would be available till February 3 for any objections and suggestions.
It is pertinent to mention here that second DBL of small and marginal farmers consists of two parts-Part A and Part B. While Part A consists of names of those small and marginal farmers who had applied in Green Forms during Phase 1, Part B list consists of those farmers whose details were not complete in the official records.
The applicants under Part B, where information is incomplete, will submit required information and documents for inclusion of their names under KALIA Scheme, by depositing duly filled Green Forms in Green Boxes and those would be available at GP offices till February 3.
For objection or self exclusion on the second DBL one can use the Red Form and shall drop the same in the Red Drop Box kept at GP office till February 3.
It is important to note here that an employee / retired employee of State / Central / PSU will be excluded from KALIA Scheme. Any applicant coming under income tax payee, big farmer, members of same family will also be excluded.
Meanwhile, KALIA Barta, an innovative information service by the Odisha government to facilitate dissemination of information to farmers about the KALIA Scheme, has added more than 7.07 lakh farmers till date.
