BHUBANESWAR: The fourth edition of Golden Triangle International Film Festival was kick started at Gita Govinda Bhawan here Saturday. The four day festival was inaugurated by Bhubaneswar MP and honorable chairman Prasanna Patasani.
President Priya Ranjan Sahoo said that Over 100 passionate films across India and the Globe will enjoy this 5 days festival. The Golden Triangle Charitable Trust is created with the purpose of organizing an International Film Festival in the name of Golden Triangle International Film Festival (GTIFF) with a global standards and repute, to attract the best in celluloid to the culturally rich city of Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
On the first day 19 movies of different language and countries such as Russia, Iran, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan were screened.
Sahoo said The festival holds the responsibility of promoting the exhibition of unique national and international films, facilitating the running of programs related to films, granting film awards and celebrating documentaries. In addition to screening films the Golden Triangle International Film Festival (GTIFF) would like to create a platform for discussions, networking, as well as organizing film events and workshops. We would like to be part of the universal creative exchange of ideas and forge collaboration with other film entities across the world.
Apart from organising GTIFF, the Golden Triangle Charitable Trust also lends its support to other Film Festivals across India as well. Golden Triangle International Film Festival (GTIFF) activities will give film lovers a chance and an opportunity to be exposed to the best of world cinema. Golden Triangle International Film Festival (GTIFF) is presenting the best of International and Indian Panorama films to the cultural state of India. GTIFF promises to be bigger and better for coming years.
In the opening ceremony Cholpon Idrisova Kyrgyzstan filmmaker, International director Hasan Nazer was also present.
