Rourkela: BJP workers of Panposh unit highlighted various development projects undertaken by the Centre in Raghunathpalli assembly constituency, ahead of general elections next month.
Addressing media here, party workers claimed that the Centre had spent Rs 300 crore on education, healthcare, road connectivity and other basic infrastructure development in the state.
BJP leaders like Bhagwan Rout, Gangadhar Das, Ankush Burma and Dillip Das said the BJD has been denying the development work of the NDA government while it has claimed AMRUT Yojana as its own scheme, which is ludicrous.
In the constituency, 300 tube wells have been dug up while housing units have been provided to people in tribal pockets, they asserted. Many roads have been upgraded and reconstructed, they added.
They made it clear that the ruling party has been trying to mislead people, saying that Union minister Jual Oram has done nothing while people of Ragunathpalli will give their befitting reply to the ruling party in the coming elections.
