Bhubaneswar: Vivek Bhardwaj, Additional Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha Sunday to review the damages caused by extremely severe cyclone ‘Fani’ and the subsequent rehabilitation efforts.
He will visit the affected areas along with a high-level inter-ministerial group of the union government.
A letter on this context has been sent to state Special Relief Commissioner Bishnupada Sethi.
According to the letter, Bhardwaj will reach here on May 12 and go on a field survey along with the delegates between May 13 and 15.
It may be mentioned here that the Prime Minister took an aerial survey of the affected areas May 6. The Central Government has already issued Rs 1340 crore relief package to the state.
