Suresh Raina broke millions of hearts when he got hitched to his lady love Priyanka Chaudhary a few years back.
Suresh and Priyanka knew each other since childhood but they were not in touch so closely as Priyanka’s family shifted to Punjab. The lady originally hails from Baraut, Uttar Pradesh. And before her marriage to Raina, she worked as an IT professional with a bank in the Netherlands.
Talking about the same in an interview, Suresh said, “I have known Priyanka for long, but in the middle, I didn’t have time to be in touch with her. I remember meeting her at the airport for five minutes in 2008. She was flying back to Holland and I was going to Bangalore for an IPL game, and we met at the Delhi airport for just five minutes. Usse pehle main usse bachpan mein mila tha.Priyanka’s father was my sports teacher in Ghaziabad and my mom was very close to her mother. I’ll call it more of an arranged marriage because our families have known each other for a long time.”
Priyanka Raina revealed her father was Raina’s teacher and sports coach in school. “Well my father saw him every day because he was his teacher. He was his sports coach as well. We were neighbours, so my mom and his mother were also very close to each other”, she added.
