Mumbai: Ranu Mondal, who shot into fame overnight, would never have imagined that her life would take such a turn. Ranu was singing Lata Mangeshkar’s song ‘Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai’ at Ranaghat railway station in suburban West Bengal. Her act was recorded by a person named Atindra Chakraborty and shared it on social media and that immediately went viral.
As a result, famous music composer Himesh Reshammiya gave him a chance to do playback in his upcoming film ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’. In this, Ranu sang a song called ‘Teri Meri Kahani’ for Himesh. That wasn’t all. After Himesh, Salman Khan is also reportedly helped her.
In fact, reports are going viral on social media that Salman has given Ranu a luxurious house worth of 55 lakhs. Not only this, he has also given Ranu a chance to sing in his upcoming film ‘Dabangg 3’. But there is no official information on this.
Ranu makes his living by singing songs at railway station.
Though Himesh gave Ranu the first opportunity, Salman Khan’s family too has a big role in it. Yes, Himesh himself revealed in the show that ‘Father of Salman Khan, once advised him that whenever you see a talented person in life, never let him go and also asked him to help that person to progress with his talent.
It is worth mentioning, Ranu came as a guest on Sony TV’s singing reality show ‘Superstar Singer‘, where she described her ordeal and how she sang on railway platforms to make both ends meet.
