Mumbai: Tiger Shroff is cementing his mark in the Hindi film industry with some superb action movies. His next film, titled ‘War’, will see him pair with none other than Hrithik Roshan.
The trailer of the film was released a few days ago. Apart from this, he is also in the news for his relationship with actress Disha Patani. Tiger recently in an interview recalled about the time when his family was going through a major financial crisis.
After the flop of the film ‘Boom’ produced by Jackie Shroff’s wife, Ayesha Shroff, the family had to go through a financial crisis. Even the furniture of the house was at stake and he had to sleep on the ground.
The 2003 film ‘Boom’ starred Amitabh Bachchan, Gulshan Grover and Jackie Shroff. It was also Katrina Kaif’s debut film. The film was leaked before hitting the theaters. To add insult to injury, the film flopped at the box office. At that time, Tiger was just 11 years old.
Tiger says, “I remember how our entire furniture was sold one after another. The things that I was growing up seeing disappeared including my bed. I started sleeping on the ground. It was the worst experience of my life”.
Tiger made her debut in 2014 with Kriti Sanon in the film ‘Heropanti’, which was a hit at the box office. After this, he gave two hit films with the ‘Baaghi’ series. The last time he appeared in a film was in ‘Student of the Year 2’, which could not do well at the box office. His next film ‘War’ slated to release 2 October.
