Modi fasts for the entire nine days in Navaratri and only intake fruits, water and lemonade in his diet. Let us tell you that when PM Modi visited America September 2014, the same diet chart was followed and this amazed everyone there including US President Barack Obama.
Obama held feast in honour of Narendra Modi at the White House and there also Modi followed the fasting rules by drinking only lemonade because Navaratri was going on in those days and he was on fast.
Another astonishing thing about him is that despite fasting, he works more in these days. He usually wakes up at five in the morning but in during Navaratri at 4 am. It is said that PM Modi starts any new work during Navaratri.
Narendra Modi is often in discussion for his fitness and daily routine. He walks regularly and does yoga. Apart from this, his regular diet is very limited and nutritious. He even does not get enough time for rest. He fulfills this deficiency through Yoga. It is known that the Prime Minister first proposed the idea of International Day of Yoga during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), 27 September 2014.
