Education is very important for every citizen in the country.
But there is no such rule for animals. Yet, you will be surprised to know that a Langur is studying at a government school.
This school is located in Peapully mandal of Kurnool district in Andhra Pradesh. Weirdly, a langur has been studying at this school along with other students.
The animal is attentive and does not disturb the class, so the teachers and students are not bothered with its presence.
In the beginning, children used to get nervous but whenever teachers start teaching it sits close to the classroom door and listens carefully what the teacher is teaching.
Abdul Latif, the headmaster of this school, says that students call the langur Laxmi and she follows the students to their class.
“Laxmi also attends the assembly prayers, eats her lunch during lunch break and plays with her classmates during classes while studying along with fellow classmates,” said Abdul.
Other teachers of the school say that ever since Laxmi has started coming to class, the number of students in the school has also started to increase. Students like to read and play with Laxmi.
Laxmi is not like other langurs. She is very calm and gracious and entertains everyone.
In fact, school teachers have also started teaching children about what and what not to feed wild animals and to keep a distance from them.
After school gets over Laxmi is kept locked to keep her away from wild animals so that no one can harm her.
