Bhubaneswar: 25 states and 10 countries will participate with their products at the upcoming fourth edition of Bhubaneswar International Trade Fair that will be held from October 11-21 at Janata Maidan. The trade fair is being organised by Gupta Event Management Private Limited (GEM).
GEM MD Sujeet Gupta Friday said, “In 2018, 7 countries had participated and this years it will be 10. Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal and MSME minister Pratap Sarangi are likely to inaugurate the event.”
Gupta said that the fair will be much bigger this year with close to 500 stalls which represents a significant jump from 100 stalls in the first edition. The consumer-oriented fair will highlight products like furniture, interior, home décor, kitchen appliances, crockery, health products, jewellery, handicrafts, handloom items, Thailand flowers and dress, Pakistani marbles, Afghanistan dry fruits among others during the ten-day long event.
Besides business, the organiser will have an entertainment section for visitors and hosts will conduct shows like Smart Srimati and Little Queen to encourage the hidden talents.
Moreover, NAREDCO Odisha, in association with GEM, is also organising ‘Building Expo’ on the same day. NAREDCO Odisha president said, “Around 60 builders will take part in this expo. The participants from real estate, finance, construction, new technology and architecture areas will join at the event.”
