Puri: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) Saturday decided to run one more special train for the Indian Army aspirants from Puri to Raipur in Chhattisgarh.
This initiatives has been implemented in a view of heavy rush of candidates from various places in trains for army examination in Bhubaneswar.
According to ECoR, the special train will leave Puri at 7:00 pm and will reach at Raipur via Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur and Titlagarh railway stations. It will help candidates from Chhattisgarh areas that are scheduled to attend the examination.
There are 12 general coaches and two guard-cum-luggage vans in its composition of the special train. The candidates can buy tickets from general booking counters and can also book tickets online.
In addition to the special trains, two extra general coaches will be added to Puri-Durg Intercity Express to facilitate the Army aspirants.
Notably, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) had already run two special trains Wednesday and Friday.
