Badasahi: The common review mission (CRM) team under the union ministry of health and family welfare Saturday began a tour of Mayurbhanj to review the infrastructural development, hygiene and healthcare services provided in the district.
The CRM team started with Badasahi primary healthcare centre (PHC) Saturday and reviewed the facilities there.
Besides, they also visited an anganwadi centre where the team interacted about proper healthcare services for the mother and the child. Further, the CRM members also discussed about the healthcare services provided by village welfare societies.
After a visit to the anganwadi centre, the team left for Deulia PHC where they discussed with locals about the healthcare services they are offered at the PHC. Local residents there complained about the vacant doctor positions and about the irregular supply of rice and toys for children.
The team advised the hospital authorities to follow proper procedures to improve healthcare services at the PHC.
