Bhubaneswar: Odisha Monday reported 673 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total tally in the state to 18,110.
The Health and Family Welfare Department reported six additional deaths due to COVID-19. Death toll across the state now stands at 97.
Regret to inform the demise of six Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals.
1. A 70-year old Male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

Out of the 673 new cases, 446 cases were reported from quarantine centres while 227 are local contacts.
District wise breakdown: Angul reported four new cases, Balasore 13, Bargarh 22, Bhadrak 58, Cuttack 32, Dhenkanal ten, Gajapati 15, Ganjam 239, Jagatsinghpur 36, Jajpur 28, Jharsuguda 14, Kandhamal 44, Kendrapada four, Khurda 58, Keonjhar 24, Koraput 41, Malkangiri four, Mayurbhanj one, Nayagarh four, Puri four, Sambalpur three, Sonepur four and Sundargarh 11.
The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 5,533.
