Bhubaneswar: Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Monday extended their warm greetings to the people of Odisha on the occasion of VijayaDashami which has been celebrated on a low-key note in the state amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The festivities remained subdued across Odisha as people celebrated it indoors to contain the spread of infection due to the deadly virus.
Congratulating Maa Durga devotees on the occasion, the Governor wished happiness and prosperity for all.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also greeted the people of Odisha on the occasion of Dussehra Monday.
Seeking Goddess Durga s blessings for the prosperity and happiness of all, Patnaik in his twitter post said, “My heartiest congratulations and congratulations to all on the occasion of the holy victory Vijaya Dashami (Dussehra). May every life be happy and prosperous with the blessings of Maa Durga.”
