Chapped or dark lips can break your look. UV rays, too much coffee, unexpected allergies, smoking, caffeine and hormonal imbalances or vitamin B2 deficiency in our body leads dryness or chapped lips.
Once you identify the triggers causing the obvious dryness, you can work on treating your lips, armed with a handful of kitchen ingredients and consistency.
Here are some remedies that could help you get rid of chapped lips:
Apply Vaseline to retain the moisture of the lips. But if Vaseline does not work then you can make it more effective by adding honey or olive oil. Applying honey mixed with Vaseline has a good effect. The best way to use Vaseline with honey is to first massage the lips with Vaseline and then after 15 minutes massage the lips with honey then wash it with water. This massage twice a day will give better results.
Similarly, applying olive oil and Vaseline two to three times a day also provides relief from chapped lips. The lost moisture of the lips will return by doing this process four to five times a week.
In winter, if you want your lips to stay safe, it is important that one should massage milk cream on lips every day before sleeping. If you want, before bedtime, add a pinch of turmeric to the cream and massage the lips daily. Also, apply cucumber juice on the lips and leave it for 20 minutes before sleeping and then wash it with water.
