Bhubaneswar: The State government Friday waived off hostel fees of polytechnic and engineering students across Odisha for the period of April 2020 to December 2020.
As the hostels in the government-run polytechnic and engineering institutes remained closed during this period owing to imposition of lockdowns following the COVID-19 outbreak, the State government took a decision to waive off hostel fees, an official said.
