Chennai: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) produced an all-around performance Sunday to beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 38 runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium and maintain their perfect start to the Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
Yuzvendra Chahal, who was part of RCB’s playing eleven, had failed to get wickets in earlier matches, but in his third match of the season, Chahal picked up two wickets.
When Chahal took his first wicket, his wife Dhanashree Verma was in tears.
As soon as Chahal took his first wicket, Dhanashree became emotional and tears welled up in her eyes. Chahal had to wait for three matches to take his first wicket in this IPL season.
