Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will provide free coaching to 200 aspirants who will appear for the Civil Services Examinations conducted by the UPSC. An official of the Higher Education department of the Odisha government informed Friday that along with the coaching free accommodation will also be provided to the aspirants.
“The Higher Education department will shortly launch a scheme to provide free coaching for UPSC Civil Services Examinations, both Prelims and Mains, with accommodation facilities for 200 aspirants,” the informed official.
The official also explained how the 200 aspirants will be chosen. “Those wanting to avail of this facility will have to appear in an entrance examination. The top 200 position holders in the examination will be chosen for the free coaching and accommodation programe,” the official stated.
“The aspirants will have to apply for enrollment for the entrance examination and download their admit cards online through the website of Higher Education department. The entrance examination will be held on February 26,” the official added.
The official also said that the Higher Education department has asked the OCAC to develop an online module under the SAMS portal so that aspirants can apply for enrollment. “The OCAC has been asked to develop the online module and furnish a detailed report in this regard by February 10,” the official stated.
