Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar Saturday issued Orange Warning for several districts of Odisha.
Up to 8.30 AM of April 2: IMD has issued Orange Warning (be updated) for several districts of the state.
The weather agency predicts thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40- 50 kmph are very likely to occur at one or two places over Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj district.
Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, and Nabarangpur district.
Maximum temperature (day temperature) is very likely to fall by 3 to 5 degrees Celcius after 24 hours at many places across Odisha.
In Bhubaneswar, rain or thundershower with rain is expected. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 26 degrees Celcius and 19 degrees Celcius respectively, IMD forecasted.
The highest maximum temperature of 37.4 degrees Celcius was recorded in Titilagarh district and the lowest minimum temperature of 16.0 degrees Celcius was recorded in Boudh district of the state Thursday.
