Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar Sunday forecasted light to moderate rain or thunderstorm in several districts of Odisha.
Upto 8.30 AM of April 2: The weather agency predicts that light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
From 8.30 AM of April 2 to 8.30 AM of April 3: The agency forecasts that light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Jajpur, Cuttack, Khurda, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, and Nabarangpur. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
The highest maximum temperature of 37.0 degrees Celcius was recorded in Malkangiri district and the lowest minimum temperature of 17.5 degrees Celcius was recorded in Boudh district of the state Saturday.
Maximum temperature (day temperature) is very likely gradually rise by 4 to 6 degrees Celcius during the next three days and no large change thereafter at many places over the districts of Odisha.
In Bhubaneswar, partly cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder lightning is expected. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 35 degrees Celcius and 23 degrees Celcius respectively.
